We strive to provide customers with the best box printing services possible. However, to ensure that your box printing project is successful, it is crucial to adhere to our file format specifications.
When preparing your artwork for printing, we recommend using vector files such as Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), or Adobe PDF (.pdf). Vector files are excellent for printing because they are resolution independent, meaning that the image can be scaled to any size without losing clarity or sharpness. Vector files also support spot colors, allowing for accurate color reproduction and consistency.
If you don't have access to vector files, we also accept raster files such as TIFF (.tif), JPEG (.jpg), and Photoshop (.psd). Raster files are resolution-dependent, meaning they will lose clarity and sharpness when scaled up. We recommend that raster files be at least 300 dpi at the final print size for the best results.
Other File Types
We also accept some other file types, such as Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt), and Rich Text Format (.rtf). These file types will be converted to a vector files for printing, so please remember that any text within these documents may be subject to slight changes during the conversion process.
In addition to the artwork, you will also need to provide a die line. This template defines the shape of your box and is used to guide the cutting of the box. The die line should be in vector formats, such as Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or EPS (.eps). All artwork must be provided with a 1/8" bleed.
We hope this information gives you a better understanding of the preferred file types for box printing. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to helping you create a beautiful and professional box print!
At RushCustomBoxes, we are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality printing services and a wide range of options. When it comes to color mode, there are a few different approaches that you can take to create the perfect look for your box.
This is the most common choice for box printing, as it allows you to create vibrant, full-color images that make your product stand out. With CMYK printing, you can print with a full range of colors and shades, from light pastels to dark and intense hues.
This type of printing is best for less complex images, such as logos and text. In addition, spot color printing allows you to print one or two colors on your box more accurately. This is an excellent option for those looking for a more professional look.
Pantone Matching System (PMS)
PMS is a popular choice for those who require a high level of color accuracy. Pantone colors are pre-mixed and can be used to print an exact shade that matches your product's design. This option is ideal for those who need to match an exact color to their branding.
No matter which color mode you choose, RushCustomBoxes has you covered. We offer a wide selection of printing services so that you can get the perfect look for your box.
